To get a start in his new duty, he shops for a watchdog| and he buys an untrain...。未来地球上一场可怕的战争后短暂的和平时期，一个外太空军事的学院被一个未知的、无法制止的外星力量攻击。学院的指挥官和一群新毕业的学生，逃脱到一个研究站。藉着外星力量，完成派遣给他们的在一个在宇宙未知地区神秘行星hyperspace出入口建立航空站的任务。他们的目标在哪里，他们将会能够回到地球吗？。五名美军犯人在被押解到军事法庭的途中，因不堪忍受宪兵的虐待而发生暴动，一起逃往中立国瑞士，谁知在边境遭遇“德军”，继而落入法国游击队的包围。原来，他们击毙的“德军”是重任在肩的美国军人。耶格中尉等人于是决定戴罪立功，替他们完成任务。这样，他们又重返敌占区。。
