A young street magician is left to take care of his little sister after his mother's passing and turns to drug dealing in the Los Angeles party scene to keep a roof over their heads. When he gets into trouble with his supplier, his sister is kidnapped and he is forced to rely on both his sleight of hand and brilliant mind to save her。本次颁奖典礼的主题为“K-POP世界公民”并在这两天的场次也设立其主题，分别是第一天的“The world we build together”以及第二天的“We are K-POP”；此外，本次典礼是更名以来首届，更是节目史上第24次举行的颁奖典礼。。
