在证券公司辛苦打拼的韮崎紘（佐藤浩市 饰）与毕业于一流大学的大小姐瑞穗（齐藤由贵 饰）结婚，韮崎紘从小和母亲相依为命，从母亲那里得知父亲已逝。然而某天一个自称其父亲（山崎努 饰）的人出现在他面前，韮崎虽心存疑虑，但其父言之凿凿，家内之事一清二楚，于是引入家中居住。
但麻烦随之而来，父亲笹一终日酗酒，偷窥丈母娘洗澡。事业上的困境已使韮崎大为苦恼，父亲的恶行终于令父子俩决裂。韮崎将父亲赶出了房子。不久闻听丈夫归来的公代（富司纯子 饰）找到儿子，告诉了他一个隐藏多年的秘密……。
