Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. He has decided to leave, but a snow avalanche is crushed in the mountains, making it impossible for him to leave. Soon, inspector has found a body of a dead lodger. This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。讲述了百年来太平洋的风徐徐吹着澳门岛，从未改变什么，但上世纪末的最后时刻的一场风，改变了澳门岛的命运，他将澳门岛吹回了祖国的怀抱，澳门人的命运也随之改变。时至今日，澳门回归祖国近二十年，以黄梓建，彪叔，钰为代表的一批澳门人是这场变革的经历者和见证人，他们经历了葡澳政府时期华人低人一等的社会地位，经历了经济衰败、社会治安动荡，他们在焦虑与迷茫中生活，因为看不到未来而痛苦彷徨。回归后，澳人治澳，一国两制，他们身上发生的故事见证了中央政府在世界性金融危机困境中，通过《博彩法》实行赌权开放、开放内地部分省市自由行等一系列政策，刺激和带动了澳门经济逆境发展。又一场百年不遇的飓风也对澳门造成空前的破坏，内地的支援与驻澳部队出动倾力抗灾，更让澳门人倍感到祖国的温暖。这十多年他们命运的变化见证了祖国的伟大。。
