一架来自欧洲的班机，为了政治任务要飞越美国领空。在机上，总统候选人史都特带了一片可以结束战争的磁片，同行的还有空军队长杰克。磁片中有美国副总统杰若从事不法军火交易的证据。但就在飞机降落之前，由杰若指使的恐怖份子挟持了这架飞机，并杀掉了机长和机员，飞机陷入混乱状态。美国空军接白宫指示，派出战斗机攻击被挟持的飞机，飞机同时受到战斗机及恐怖份子的围攻，失去控制，又无法与地面电台联络,唯一的希望落在了不会开飞机杰克身上!。主要讲述了清末一名被同僚陷害的朝廷顶级杀手常宽受伤落海后被装载中国劳工的洋人货船所救，经历了洋人的奴役压迫、海盗偷袭、遭遇暴风雨等重重磨难，最后在神秘的毛利人帮助下到达新西兰，在这个过程中，常宽凭借其英勇和智慧带领中国劳工摆脱压迫和磨难在异国他乡开始了淘金新生活的故事。。London 1864.
