经过连番的试炼，老鹰终于相信了楚留香的忠诚。可实际上，楚留香和八皇爷设了一个局，亦在将企图造反的幽灵山庄众人捉拿归案。在此过程中，楚留香发现胆小如鼠嗜赌成性的胡斐竟然也是八皇爷派到这里来的卧底，两人一拍即合，相互照应。一番混战之后，老鹰逃走，而他的真实面目，至今无人知晓。。
