电影分为三个短片。
《决》：马骝（刘德华 饰）和朱女（刘一君 饰）是情同手足的好兄弟，两人共同经历过各种大风大浪，彼此之间感情十分坚定。然而，在一场意外中，两人无意之中引燃了大火导致伤亡惨重，马骝自此决定改过自新做个好人，但朱女却依然一意孤行，渐行渐远。
《零用钱》：阿邦（周星驰 饰）是含着金汤匙出生的公子哥，却在意外之中染上了毒瘾，从此越陷越深，走向了灭亡。
《歧途》：阿文（梁朝伟 饰）是个善良孝顺的男孩，一直都在照料病重的母亲。某日，在篮球场上，阿文多次遭到小混混的骚扰挑衅，忍无可忍之下和对方起了冲突，酿成命案，阿文立刻遭到了警方的追捕。。In a post-apocalyptic adventure in the Swedish archipelago, a science team struggles to find a way to protect the few surviving humans from a lethal mushroom organism.
