Inspired by W.G. Sebald’s book and based on WWII archive footage, the film puts forward the question: is it morally acceptable to use civilian population as a means of war? The question remains as relevant today, as it was 80 years ago, and its urgency is tragically manifested in the current event...。本剧讲述的是反伦理的姐夫韩必胜（赵在弦饰）与小姨子徐莲郁（孔孝珍饰）之间的爱情故事。徐莲郁自10年前在自己的生日那天，父母去商店的路上出车祸以后，每到自己生日的时候都有心理障碍…… 韩必胜和姐姐徐莲静（吴妍秀饰）举行结婚仪式的时候，徐莲郁从韩必胜那儿深深的感受到一种哥哥般的亲情，感动的留下泪来。从那时起徐莲郁对韩必胜的感觉渐渐起了变化……。大约从半个世纪前，热带雨林中的一个偏远村庄开始目睹一系列村民们将其归因于超自然现象的无法解释的事件，包括前任警督离奇的死亡。Vikrant Rona作为新上任的警督来到了这个村庄，开始调查这一切。
