庙里的佛像塌了，需要三千元钱重新修葺，为了筹得这笔钱，和尚（李强 饰）先后来到了佛教科和文物科，然而两方人马只会相互推诿责任，看来谁也不打算掏出这笔钱来。无奈之下，和尚前去找在另一座庙中生活的师兄帮忙，可是师兄只是劝他放弃。
