凯莉卡伯不了解她的丈夫－罗杰，为何锺爱这幢世袭的房子，甚至他同父异母的兄弟，出高价都不为所动。或许是他的祖父立过血誓永不变卖，罗杰也不愿违背誓言。突然间一切都改变了，罗杰被车子撞死，十三岁的女儿劳莉因此瘫痪，凯莉搬进老屋抚养女儿，远思亡夫。但房子隐藏著某种邪恶的力量紧追著她，黏土从水龙头流出；地窟传来呻吟的声音。凯莉被搞得精疲力竭，一幢古怪传统的房子，频有幽魂作怪。一连串阴森反覆无常的恐怖事情即将展开…。。In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power.

Eva Näripe。苏格兰爱丁堡，雷登、土豆和病仔三个青年过着混沌糜烂的生活，他们吸毒、滥交、诈骗无所不做，而在如此肆无忌惮挥霍青春的过程中，毒品成为一切万恶之源。雷登对之亦爱亦恨，试图戒毒却最终重蹈覆辙。在一次纵情狂欢后，他们三个不知谁和少女爱丽森所生的婴儿死去。以此为开端，噩梦真正降临。土豆抢劫时锒铛入狱，雷登吸食毒品过量被送往医院抢救，后被强制戒毒。恐怖的幻觉和心底生气的恐惧迫使他不得不和毒品一刀两断。看似美好的新生活，但往日狐朋狗友贝格比等找上门来，再度给他带来无限的烦恼……。
