因罹患肺病，曾经意气风发的作家梶（佐藤隆太 饰）心中的不安与日俱增，诗歌、音乐、书籍对他不再有吸引力，他变卖了曾经珍藏的书籍，对于主义和革命的争论也全然不感兴趣。日显羸弱的身体和殷红刺眼的鲜血，似乎无时无刻不在提醒他生命的烛火正渐渐熄灭。隔壁风流潇洒的中田（和田聪宏 饰）和一楼的革命恐怖分子，在他看来已是两个世界的人。水果摊上难得一见的柠檬，那冰冷、清香的感觉让他感知到了什么呢？
