故事以动荡的中东局势为背景，重点描述一个美国家庭在中东工作的种种经历。巴里（亚当·雷纳 Adam Rayner 饰）是某中东国家统治者的儿子，在自我流放20年之后，他带着美国妻子和孩子回到了饱受战火折磨的祖国——来参加侄子的婚礼。他一回来就卷入了危险的政治游戏，迫使他再次面对那个他年少时就已经抛弃的家庭。。《比佛利拜金狗2》虽然不像首集一般安排上戏院放映，但製作规格各方面也都比照当初的电影，同样是运用电脑科技让狗狗们开口说话演戏。本片的故事内容则是接续原本的第一集最后，叙述终成眷属的吉娃娃伴侣 Papi 和 Chloe 如今共组家庭，但是他们的冒险可没有因此结束喔！没多久五隻小狗狗们就报到了，Papi 和 Chloe 成天开始忙著应付这些小鬼头，防止他们闯祸，给人类主人以及邻居带来不必要的麻烦。而且他们的挑战还不仅於此，这次虽然没有翻山越岭，但即使在比佛利本地也会面临许多冒险，面对一隻娇娇狗的挑衅，吉娃娃们还必须登上狗狗名模伸展台，让比佛利狗狗时尚界大开眼界！。A malicious motorcycle gang harasses the residents of a small California town, intimidating most residents to not report them to the police.
