本片由罗马导演、倪匡编剧，拍於1980年，由著名武打红星吴元俊领衔主演。故事讲述某寺青年僧人「疯子」(吴元俊饰)，性格疯疯癲癲，行為全不符僧人规范。该寺主持玄明方丈却认為「疯子」与佛有缘，并因应其性格与气质，授以「癲罗汉拳」。「疯子」有了武功后，动輒出拳伤人，方丈只得将其逐出寺门……。电影讲述一位60多岁的空巢老人，之前是大厨的他在退休后，发现儿女四散各自成家立业忙碌着，于是这位父亲主动出发，轮流去每个子女家中小住，帮他们做饭。在给子女做菜的过程中，展现了两代人之间中国当代家庭中的各种亲情观、伦理冲突。。Michele is a mathematics professor who just started a new job in a school with some peculiar teaching methods.
