The film focuses on several high-profile made-up news stories in recent years with real world consequences, including the infamous “Pizzagate” case, the disi...。Kyung-woo自小就有视障问题，所以对UFO感到好奇的她永远不能看见自己想见的东西。在辅导中心工作的她因为夜归，每晚都乘搭尾班巴士回家。而驾驶这尾班巴士的便是PARKSang-hyun。失恋过的Sang-hyun日间是一名巴士司机，但放工后便在自己的家仿如电台DJ般主持节目。有时他会因独自主持节目而感到寂寞。Sang-hyun和Kyung-woo本来并不相识，然而某一晚Kyung-woo坐巴士坐到总站仍未下车，Sang-hyun便上前唤醒她……。墨西哥城国立大学的学生罢课行动已经持续了月余，室友Sombra与Santos则宅在宿舍中，每日靠意淫电台节目中的女孩以及戏弄邻居的女儿、帮他们偷电等举动打发时间。Sombra的弟弟托马斯的到来打断了他们无所事事的生活——他的母亲因为他在楼顶扔水气球砸中邻居和婴儿的事件而劝他到城里避避。
三人决定出发寻找托马斯的偶像、传说中的摇滚歌手Epigmenio Cruz。一路上他们穿过贫民窟、暴动的校园，抵达繁华的墨西哥城城市中心……。
