A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?。该片要讲述的是春秋战国时期，秦昭襄王倾慕齐国孟尝君贤能，两度邀请，最后拜其为相国。后来，秦王听信谗言，担心孟尝君“先齐而后秦”，危及秦国社稷安全，于是罢免了孟尝君，并把孟尝君囚禁起来，图谋杀掉孟尝君。孟尝君趁夜色逃离秦国，到函谷关正是半夜。按当时秦国法规，函谷关每天鸡叫才开门，孟尝君凭借“鸡鸣狗盗”才得以顺利逃离函谷关。。
